Thank you for visiting. I am finishing out my debut cd entitled "Stories" which will be released in mid December. We recorded at Conway Studios, where we were able to track five of the songs, counting them off and playing them down together, all on the same day in the old-school way. Alan Pasqua introduced me to Buddy King (owner of the musicians’ Eden that is Conway) and I’ll always be indebted to them both because that day at Conway set the tone for the whole project. I later tracked four tunes with Alan in his studio in Santa Monica. Dan Garcia recorded and engineered both sessions. We added additional guitar, trumpet and fleugel horn at Dan's studio and did a lot of work at Edenhurst Studio, where Greg Curtis recorded and produced the final vocals and additional tracks with Paul Litteral, Michael Manring, Ken Lasaine and Danny Frankel. Greg will soon open a state-of-the-art sound stage in Glendale for film, television and live ensemble recording, and his work is outstanding. Dan Garcia did the final mix in his studio, shared with Lurssen Mastering on the Center Stage lot. Gavin Lurssen mastered it, assisted by Reuben Cohen. Now I'm counting my blessings for the inspired company that helped bring this about. Each of the artists and engineers has a reverence for music that is their compass and informs everything they do. I'm really grateful to Alan Pasqua for his inspired work and help; for Greg Curtis' gifts, wisdom and grace in the studio; Nedra Wheeler and Danny Frankel: the dream team of time and nuance; for Michael Manring's gorgeous work; Ken Lasaine's musicality, collaboration and ability to divine exactly what each song needs; for Dan Garcia and Gavin Lurssen, "The Right Stuff" pilots of tone and sound. So grateful to Paul Litteral for introducing me to Danny Frankel and Greg Curtis, and for his happy take on all the things I take to heart.
